Butterflys Wings by daegfire Butterflys Wings by daegfire
This has been finished for a little while, but as i hadn't had chance to give it to the owner i have been holding off posting it online.

It is a twin to the red "Butterflys Heart". Given to my Cousin Eli, its partly a birthday gift. Again a lot of though was put into it, working out how to convey the same meanings and messages as i did for Ceri's picture. Giving them similar elements, but keeping them individual and suited to the owner.

For this cutting i painted the paper before hand using Ecoline liquid watercolours. The design process was done on a ipad and then drawn and cut by hand.

Wow this is so cool! It may be a weird question, but did you use a scissor? It's just that I can't immagine cutting anything this detailed with a scissor... Maybe you used some kind of magic tool that i've never heard of? :D
Anyway good job, you're really talented :)

Haha not a magic tool as such, just a very sharp knife.
I use a surgical scalpul, with a 10A blade. About as sharp as you can get, but I still change the blade regually.
Thanks a lot for the complements. Xxx
