your papercutting is.... wow!!! i'm pretty new to the medium and looking for tricks of the trade. what kind of paper do you use, if i may pry?

Thanks haha.
For me I find its more important what knife I use. Paper wise I pretty much just use whatever comes to hand as long a sits not too thick. Thinner stuff like tissue paper is harder to cut, but it just takes a little practice. I try not to use anything above around 180msg ... But if I need a particular colour that I only have in a heavier weight then I'll cut it instead of going shopping.
The knifes I use are swann morton surgical scalpels, with a 10A blade. It's about as sharp as you can get, but even then I change the blade regually. The blades come in loads of different shapes and sizes, so it's just bet to try a few out and see which works best for you.
